Our next project: the "Mach's einfach" podcast

Alongside Tech Ninjas, we've just started another passion project: the "Mach's einfach" podcast.

In it, we talk with freelancers, entrepreneurs, people who want to take the leap into self-employment, and interesting personalities who simply put their ideas into action. Following the motto: Just do it.

Even though we're still right at the beginning, the project is already a huge amount of fun. The best part is getting to talk with interesting people and getting a look into their journey. How did they build their business? How do they think? How do they define success? What challenges did they have to overcome? Those are exactly the stories we find incredibly exciting.

We try to record every episode with a guest. We're convinced that conversations with different personalities are much more interesting than just the two of us debating. That way our listeners can take away as much value as possible, discover new perspectives, and hopefully find the motivation to take something on themselves.

Another nice side effect is the network that grows from it. Through the podcast we keep meeting new people, many of them also self-employed. That leads to more interesting conversations and sometimes even collaboration. Sometimes we learn from our guests or benefit from their services; sometimes we get to support them with our know-how. That mutual exchange is what makes it especially valuable.

I once heard that most podcasts disappear after 15 to 20 episodes. So we've set ourselves a clear goal: we want to beat that mark for sure. A new episode comes out every Wednesday, and if we stick with it consistently, we'd like to have published over 50 episodes within a year.

Whether we hit that goal remains to be seen. But one thing is already clear: the project is a blast, we're learning an incredible amount, and we get to meet a lot of inspiring people.

So right in line with our motto: Mach's einfach.
