About me

A bit of context: work, tech, and personal life.

Path so far

I trained as an automation electrician (Automatiker), then moved into computer science and software development through university. I learned the craft at a small company, then joined a corporation, where I work today, with a planned end date in August 2026.

Tech & curiosity

I've been into tech for a long time: I like taking things apart to see how they work. Give me a laptop and internet and I'm set. The rest is scenery.

Working from anywhere

I value location-independent work: office, train, bus, café, couch, as long as my head is in the game. Freedom matters to me; I don't like feeling boxed in for no good reason.

Sport, running & Brazil

I play tennis at a solid hobby level. Otherwise I enjoy diving or snorkeling, going to the gym, or running outside. I've followed Brazil's national team since 1998; I first visited Brazil in 2011 and went again in 2012. Most recently in 2024.

Travel

Among other places, I've been to:

  • Asia & Pacific: Australia, Bali, Japan, Lombok, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam
  • Africa: Egypt, Kenya, Mauritius
  • Americas: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, USA
  • Europe: France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Italy, Spain, Turkey

What I enjoy

I appreciate good coffee and landscapes that feel green, lively, tropical, and warm, ideally all at once. Good company, good food, and a healthy lifestyle matter to me as well.

One more thing

This is a personal site: it'll grow when I have time and something worth adding.
